Two different center heights (8.5 mm and 15 mm) allow the use without adapter in most commercial spectrophotometers: Amersham Biosciences, Analytik Jena, Biochrom, WPA, Eppendorf®, PerkinElmer InstrumentsTM, ThermoSpectronic, etc.
Round caps provide tight seal and allow storage of samples down to -20 °C
